aheshwary Marbles, a name synonymous with high quality natural stones in India was established in 1978 with a small retail yard in Coimbatore. The founder, Mr. Shreegopal Rander founded the company when he noticed the lack of any decent stone retail shops offering adequate choice and service to customers. Over the years, what started as a retail business would flourish into a full-fledged natural stones company with quarries across major stone producing regions in India, processing facilities and retail yards all over the country. Today, over 3 decades later, Maheshwary Marbles has come to be known as one of the most respected "Quarry to Floor" companies in the sector, with an impressive global reach.

In the course of its retail operations, the company also saw the need for better processing of stone. Thus, it embarked on backward integration by setting up its first manufacturing unit in 1984, followed by a quarrying operation in 1987 in the state of Rajasthan. Since then, the company has been continuously expanding into major natural stone manufacturing regions like Katni and Banswara to ensure a robust raw material supply while also expanding its network of retail yards across India, which includes major cities like Nagpur, Mumbai, Delhi and Kochi.Since 1992, Maheshwary Marbles started to import natural stones from all over the world.

In 2005, the company formalised its plans of targeting and serving the international market by setting up a dedicated Exim division, especially for the stones originating from its own quarries. With trade liberalisation in the sector initiated by the Indian Government, the company is now looking at opportunities to import natural stone blocks; and is also exploring mining opportunities globally, as part of the next growth cycle.
