Setting a strong creative foundation in NIFT, New Delhi and Parsons School of Design, New York, Aditi Binani adds an edge to her profile encompassing a combined knowledge of textiles and interior design.
Spending her youth days in the design capital of the world – New York city, she was highly influenced by the design language of the most pronounced restaurants, stores, hotels in the city. This inspiration reflects in her style and is characterized as Industrial, mid-century modern and transitional.
Having worked with well known interior and architectural firms in NYC and New Delhi, she brings with her years of technical expertise and proficiency. As a lead designer, she designed retail stores at the elite Emporio mall and homes at the DLF Aralias, Gurgaon.
With years of experience was born Kinderhomes in 2011, India’s largest children’s lifestyle store. Aditi created magical spaces in over a 100 kids room in the homes of many celebrities and accomplished professionals. PurpleEdge Design began to satiate the demands of existing Kinderhomes customers who were keen to get their entire home and office designed by her. Aditi’s ever-evolving style is underpinned by amalgamating design influences of NYC into the Indian Living, finding a perfect blend between the two and making the world a beautiful place to live in.
